My name is Jason Gray and I am a 24 year old poker pro from Portland, Oregon. I first got into poker when I was 18 after my brother, Craig, introduced me to online poker. Before poker I was a college student who was a very competitive person participating in many sports and playing lots of video games. When I encountered poker and watched a few players daily win large sums of money I said to myself, “These are just people playing a video game well and winning nice paychecks.” That was an eye opener for me and while continuing to work and go to college I picked up every poker book out there and started to play onine cash games and sit n goes while playing 3-6 limit hold’em at a local card room. After about 6 months I became a break even / small winner and started to move up limits all around and thought I really got the hang of things. I really dont feel it was about 2 or 3 yrs later that I truly was a winning and talented player at all the bigger levels I had jumped up to.

Currently I spend most my time playing tournaments online on Pokerstars, FullTiltPoker, and UltimateBet. About every month and a half to two months I attend a WPT or WSOP stop and play for about 2 weeks. The only exception to this is the WSOP where myself and the rest of FTT usually stay for the whole time.

To date my biggest accomplishments in poker are: 5th place finish in Aruba Poker classic, 10th place Bay 101 main event, 1st 1500 Reno prelim, few other main event cashes, a few wins in the Fulltilt Monday 1k’s and a 3rd, multiple wins in the 100 rebuy on pokerstars.
